Æ       Sri Jogesh Ch. Barman, alumnus of the college and now the honorable Minister in-charge, Dept. of Backward Classes Welfare, Govt. of W.B. was approached by the college authority for opening a NET/SLET Coaching Centre, especially for the backward communities and the proposal was sanctioned by the concerned Department.
